Meet the inspiration behind Urban Oasis, your trusted guide to the world of organic gardening, Dr. Shilpa Naik. Dr. Shilpa holds a PhD in Media & Journalism and a Master's in Mass Communications – but her true passion lies in organic gardening, which started as a hobby in her terrace garden and blossomed into a unique connection with nature.
With more than 20 years of hands-on experience and growing over 300 various plants in her terrace garden, Dr. Shilpa is not just an expert; she's your partner in creating a thriving, eco-friendly garden.
She is also a passionate singer & teacher, and has earned recognition through numerous media and news interviews across India for organic gardening.
